There's something to be said about staying put and having some consistency. You've seen life from both sides (moving around and staying in one place) and that's something not everyone can say. Glad you found your spot!

I can see the farm I grew up on from our chicken run! The property that is next to ours is the farm my dad grew up on! I like staying in one place! I enjoy daydreaming while looking at the farm and thinking how I had a great childhood there!

I've been blessed to raise our children and live in the home my husband and I built together, for 35 years.

I don’t want to leave the house today either.
Our temps are supposed to be decent but the humidity will not go away. There will be no wind either, all week. It is so saturated here. We got almost another 3” again the other day.

We haven't gotten more than a few drops in a couple of weeks but the humidity has been sticking above 60%. I deal with the heat much better than the humidity. I would love some rain to cool things off.
