The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning Janie!

Oh how fun! I always thought I would continue to ride. Ever since my parents were hit by a car on their bike, my husband said, nope, nope and nope. Got my first bike when I was 10. I love to ride and miss it tremendously.

I'm happy to be home most of the time. Once in awhile, I just have to explore. I know we will have to slow down one day. It's good to be happy where you are! 💗
I can't say that I blame your husband. I have to admit that when my youngest son started riding, I started wearing a helmet. I confess, I'd rather he give the bike up now that he has a baby of his own.
My son's boss lost his 19 yo son to a biking accident this past spring. It was his first bike, he had had it 3 days, and someone pulled out in front of him. My dil nixed the bike rides for a while after that but he still has the bike. Right now they are so taken with the new baby that riding isn't a temptation. I'm hoping he will sell and not buy another for the next 18 years.
Its so beautiful here and I am fortunate to have an abundance of walking trails, as well as wildlife and plantlife to enjoy.

Good morning Debby! You do the same! 💗

I need to add that I always feel like a very lazy person when I see that you posted at 2:18 in the a.m. my time and I don't see it until 6 hours later... what a slug I am... :gig
We are birds of a feather. .. slugs of a slime trail?

That is so heartbreaking.

The roads are much more congested now than they were, even at the time of my parents accident, 40 years ago, which was just a freak thing. My youngest son always wanted a bike, until he became a state trooper and he realized how crazy the roads are today.

Good morning, DMC. I hope your back is better today. 👻🎃🦇
Hi Janie, thanks. Right now it is ok. I’m afraid if I make a wrong move it will not be. I just vacuumed my bedroom and the bathrooms and am sitting down now to read a book. It is very windy out, but was able to finally shut off the air conditioning and open windows.

Good morning Debby! I hope you have a great day too! 😊

Hi Barry, did your headache clear up?

Good morning Debby, you also.

Hi DMC, baby that back of yours ❤️

Good morning, Debby. Have a sensational Sunday! ☕🍩🧋🍩

And a Super Sunday to you Janie!

Hi Rene, you are definitely not a slug  When you see those times on my posts it's because I'm having sleeping problems, not that I'm trying to catch that early bird's worm!

Good afternoon.

Hi Sour, hope you and the Princess are having a great day!
