My cupcakes were baked already, thank goodness. I had a backup element in case it did burn out. Hubby was harvesting. He just got done last night and it rained this morning so he had time to put the new one in.

I'm glad it worked out that way.

It is. We had lots of rain this summer. We had no rain during harvest, which was a blessing. He only got stuck once. It caused damage to the corn head, but my guys were able to fix it in half a day. There is still tillage to do but at least the crop is out.

Good morning all! We're in the 50's today and 50% chance of rain. 90% chance of a quarter inch tonight. That's a bunch for us, considering November is our rainy month and we only get 1" during the whole month.

I'm home today, so need to keep working on putting the house back in order. Hubs is playing in the final golf tournament of the year. He and his buddy are currently in 1st for their division. Hopefully they play well and have as much fun today. I'll put him to work when he gets home... no more goofing off...lol

Yeah, the last I checked, we've only had around 2.44" all year, usually around 7 something by this time, so it's been really dry. I think our average totals are around 10". Hopefully we'll get some good moisture over the winter.

I should add, my husband says I have a temperature tolerance of 2°. 2° too hot and 2° too cold...
