I think its fantastic that you still work them.
Do you still have your Golden? Wish I could have one again.
Livvie, last golden, died 6 or 7 years ago -post surgical death after removal of a splenic hemangiosarcoma. Since then we have had Miss Maggie Mae - a goldendoodle. She started having idiopathic epileptic seizures at 1.5 years of age. We were never able to get them under control, and tomorrow will mark the 3 year anniversary of when she was euthanized. I still grieve over her.

Not sure you saw. I posted it somewhere. Lost my Bella this year. Only 3 years old. Bladder cancer. It happened so fast. Grateful we took her in. I knew she would probably pass that night, but I didn't want her to pass alone as I had to crate her because of all of her bleeding. So, I was there for her when she went to sleep.
Interesting you lost your last one to seizures. I lost our 13 year old Shi Tzu last year to that. Heart and seizures. We tried meds, worked for a while but not for long.
Our pets mean so much to us.

I saw - too reminiscent of Maggie's death for me to respond. The loss of any is rough - that of a young dog is unbearable. Maggie Mae was one of a kind. I never laughed so much and swore so much at any animal as I did at her. The Princess is ready for another dog. I am not. I made the mistake of showing her the picture of your pup.

😄 She's a smart one! Starting asking to go out at 3 months. Learned to sit for her food in one day. She is a mix. Maltese and Shi Tzu. I prefer the mix. The nose is longer so less of an issue in the sinus area. They are mixing Shi Tzu's with the Maltese or the Mini Poodle. Both a good idea for the nose. Poodles are more active, so I chose the Maltese mix. 😁
Here she is today. 7 lbs at the vet yesterday. Guessing she will be close to 10 lbs when finished growing.
I will have her shaved her down quite a bit now that she's had her shots.

Maggie Mae was supposed to mature at around 30 lb. Last time she was weighed, she was 70 lb. Smart, willful, exuberant, stubborn - the Princess once said, "You never played with any of our other dogs as much as you play with Maggie." I replied, "The SOB won't leave me alone." Bought her during Covid, outside, masked, when the decision was made, I picked her up and stuck her inside my coat. She owned me, and I was hers from that moment on.

Interesting start to my day. Was wakened by knocking at the front door. Answered to find a very large police officer there. Long story short - someone wrote an anonymous letter complaining about the way I keep my dogs and that they doubted they were getting enough exercise. 60 years here and this finally happens ? I showed him my training records - he was aware of the proximity to the beagle club, and I think all is okay. Last sentence of the letter tells it all. "We would like to remain anonymous." Problem for me is that now everyone is under suspicion.
Good grief! What a bunch of crap! They could have at least left their name! I call that a coward! Now, like you mentioned everyone is a possible suspect! Sorry for the hassle sour!

What.?

I had a Kenmore washer that we bought new in 1992. I loved it. It lasted 16 years. My last 4 or 5 washers have lasted between 2.5 and 5 years.
Everything in general is not built tough enough! Way too many functions that can and will go wrong! Then parts costs to repair
are sometimes not cost effective! Bottom line they do not want them to last too long they want everyone to buy another new one! 😲
