The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, Jen. How have you been?
Hi, Janie! Sorry, I'm not trying to ignore you or this thread, or anything. My sister says my problems come from being left alone in the incubator for too long and not enough human interaction when I was little (or at least first 8 weeks or whatever), lol.

No, I am just letting myself feel whatever, and then feeling the self-induced physical symptoms of feeling whatever. Maybe 2025 has shown me how much of a masochist I really am; "Isn't this what you asked for?!" Anyways, sorry, thinking out loud, sounding crazy, but hopefully you'll all forgive me. I am actually really relatively not too bad. Thank you so much for asking, Janie (and everyone for saying hi to me in the thread and I didn't say hi back and everyone I haven't replied or reacted to, but I'll catch and keep up eventually, I hope.)

Have a great weekend!

Good morning.

I am not showing the Princess. After 3 groomings, the first groomer refused to do Maggie Mae even with the Princess there holding her. Second groomer and Maggie got along fine. The groomer wouldn't put up with Maggie's crap and they were best buds.
She did pretty good. The face though, kept turning away from him. I've been brushing her and putting the wrong end of an electric razor on her to get her used to the noise. Must have worked. :)

Hi Jen, it's good to hear from you! Take care of yourself :hugs

This is our day. Want to plant..but the ground is wet! I need to sit by the beds i want to plant. May have to wait a couple of days. Oh well. Still early enough.
We get some pretty blue skies here in Urah. View attachment 4235130

Beautiful blue sky you have there Cynthia! Hope you can get those tulip bulbs in the ground soon...they'll be nice to see come spring.

I love them. I had many in our last home.
Oh..not sure i posted that here. We moved last year, at the very end of the year. December the 28th. Hard to believe, but we are coming up on a year. My flower beds and vegetable bed are a lit smaller. In fact, there weren't any. Kids and grandkids came and made me some really nice beds. Just the right size for this old lady now. :)
My rose bush has done well. Three time bloomng after trims. Kids dug out this area.
Kids digging up a veggie spot. Had some nice tomatoes this year.

No apologies, Jen, and I certainly don't think you are nuts.
I'm an introvert myself. Some days all I can do is give a reaction and keep reading.

What are you going to plant or are you just longing for spring? 😊
