We got our 4 mum plants stuck in the ground today. One of them a large piece broke off but I'm going to see if I can get it to root.

Good morning all.

I got my new stove last night. I hope it fits. I’m thinking hubby will have to do some trimming on the countertops. The new one is stainless. My old one is black. They say black is slimming in clothes…wonder if it pertains to ovens as well?
I got a new dishwasher too. My current one is rusting out. Most of the bottom rack has lost the pegs to hold the dishes in place, so it’s starting to not clean the dishes well. The store owner recommended this one as he just bought it and said it works great.

Morning DMC, congrats on the new stove and dishwasher! Hope this oven holds up better than the last one did.

Love mums. Explain how you plant them. I have one large one in a big pot outside. I would love to trash plant it. I had one i planted years ago. That thing got big. For years it kept coming back after I trimmed it in the fall. I think I had just planted it from a plant I had bought for Memorial Day and brought it back home after.View attachment 4236576View attachment 4236578

I don't think its the climate. We are in zone 8. I've just never been able to get them to bloom again once planted. I've tried several kinds of organice fertilizer but I just don't have the magic mum touch.
I'm awesome at growing turks cap though. The one in the back yard is out of control. Lol. The birds love the fruit so I guess they are helping it spread its seed.

Its grocery store day so I guess I better get the birds tended to so I can be on my way. Bah humbug. I hate grocery shopping.
