The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, Barry. My husband has never joined. He is the gardener and I am the keeper of chickens. I've tried to get him to join so he can chat with other gardners but he never sits still long enough unless he is just exhausted.
Sounds like my husband was. Kept busy.

Good morning Janie! Yeah, I am the chicken keeper here she likes them but not like I do! We are both gardeners here, we have a large one it takes up most of our back yard! I used to be more like your husband but I find that now I don`t always feel like doing something even though I probably should be! 😊
I know that feeling! 😄

Good morning.

Good morning to one and all! Used to be excited for Friday's when I worked. Now all the days seem like Friday's. Or Mondays. Or Tuesdays. Or..well..you get the jest of it. 😁
I always say, "My life is a weekend."

You live in a ..teeny..town?
Sad but true, when we moved here in the 60's, this town of Spanish Fork was a cute litte town. Now! I still can't believe it. It grew so fast. Well, fast to me because time goes by faster for me every year. It's October? When did that happen? In December it will have been one year that we've lived in this home. Moved in on December 28th. And I'll add, what a time of year to move!
I'm not sure I could call this a town. It is more of a community. Texas has many small communities that never grow much so I'm not worried about it gaining town status in my lifetime. It does have a tiny part time post office but our mail is delivered by a larger postal branch that's not even in our county. We have a small k through 12 school not too far from us. The dollar stores weren't here when we bought the land but I am thankfull that they are here now.

Good morning, Sour. Have you found out who called the police? Have you seen anymore of the aggressive cat?
No on the complaint, and I probably will not find out unless things escalate.

Two nights ago Scaredy was 'death staring' off the deck, and the invader was eating out of her food bowl. When I opened the door, he left in a hurry. I guess our last interaction educated him.
