Hi Debby, thanks. He said Monday after work. He has 2 days of tillage left if everything works in his favor. The ground is really rough. He’s hoping it doesn’t break the digger.
I have a funeral this morning. My son bought this ladies house 2 years ago. She was my neighbor down the road and a very nice lady.

Hi Janie, no. It’s parked in my entryway. The dishwasher is right next to it. It’s an obstacle course to get to my door. I think it’s going to be a bugger to put in, and that it’s too big for the space. I hope I’m wrong. When we put the last one in, we had a new counter top put in also.

At least the appliances have made it to your house, that's a step in the right direction. Hope you don't have to tear up anything to get the oven in.

Gorgeous photos Jen! Makes me miss seeing the mountains.

Yeah, they aren't WY mountains, but it's fun to have some nice little buttes around us for some good hiking.

Thanks! Yes, I have been real fortunate to travel lots with work and lived lots of places growing up, but I still feel so blessed to come home here and sometimes have to pinch myself about living where we live. Definitely always nice to see your cute little spot, too, Janie.

Thanks! Yes, I have been real fortunate to travel lots with work and lived lots of places growing up, but I still feel so blessed to come home here and sometimes have to pinch myself about living where we live. Definitely always nice to see your cute little spot, too, Janie.

Oh, I definitely hope the stove fits and the tillage goes as scheduled so you can get them both installed. Condolences about your neighbor. I hope the rest of your weekend of planned no plans goes as planned!

Thanks, Barry! It's one of the nicest times of the year when the cottonwoods, aspens and tamaracks have all turned color. Sounds like those apples are keeping you busy! Fun to hear about. We planted an apple tree this year, but it's an ornamental crab apple, so I don't think we'll be doing anything with the fruit. I think I would have a fan if I could get some other more fruit-bearing type planted, though.

Ornamental crab trees are pretty, so you have that to look forward to. When I was a little kid, all the grown ups on the block decided everyone should plant 2 ornamental crabs in the front yards. When they all bloomed they were so beautiful! And when they developed little hard crab apples, they were great ammo for us kids to launch at each other...they made good sling shot ammo.

I was looking through my cookbooks and found this from a few years back. It was her last gift to me. I used to clean for this neighbor. I also knew her from when I managed Subway. That’s how I first got to know her. Good memories.
