It's November! In case ya didn't know.
We can now say that Christmas is next month.
I have my shopping and wrapping done. Except one. Yep.
Good morning all.
Birthday tomorrow for Grandson that lives here. I have a son and daughter in law that lives with me along with their son and little daughter. He'll be 7. Jane is 2.
Mine is on the 20th. My husband's was on the 19th, we never forgot one another's birthdays. lol

Happy Turkey month, Cynthia. Please wish your grandson a happy birthday for me. 7 is a fabulous age. Oh, and I love Jane's name.

Good morning Janie! She is! Just as I am her! We never have to call anyone for anything here! I do it all! That`s what I am good at! That`s why I fit so well as the head Maintenance man at Westview our Public School corp. I even graduated from there ! Best job I had and the best bosses! Sorry rambling on lol! Have a great day!

Grandkids make the best tricker treaters. And the Amish probably make great neighbors, too. We had Mennonite communities near us in Tennessee. They were quiet and reserved but always nice.

Grandkids really do! Amish are great neighbors! There are lots Mennonites here too some leave the Amish and become Mennonites. Amish and Mennonites, that is predominately who live here! Truth be known I have some Amish blood from my mom`s side! I can speak a little bit of it, just enough to get in trouble hahaha!

I have quartz in one bathroom and leathered granite in the other bathroom. I love them both. I wish I could afford to put the leathered granite in my kitchen.

The leathered finish feels and looks so nice. We saved up for quite a while before we did our remodel, in the hope we'd be able purchase stone. Remodeling one room at a time over several years, started in 2011. We have marble in our powder room. It was such a small counter, we bought a scrap piece and hubs actually did the cutting and polish on it and then installed it. The laundry and guest bath have granite. We're getting ready to remodel the master bath. Just now starting to decide what we're going to put in. That will be our last room to remodel.

Good morning to you all!

We had about 35-40 trick or treaters last night, saw some real cute kids (and parents) dressed up. One boy about 10 yrs old told me "hold the candy, can I have a water please?"...guess his costume was way too hot for him. A little girl around 5 shared her witchy laugh with us, she was so cute! It was fun seeing the kids, and we don't have much candy left to tempt us so a successful Halloween Eve.
