The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi Rene. We have had several frosts. The big one should happen soon. We need it to kill mosquitoes and all the other bugs.
You still have mosquitos? Why do you want to kill your state bird. Used to be the mosquito was the state bird of Wisconsin too, but the last decade there hasn't been very many of them here.

Yep, we need that too. The mosquitos are still coming into the house and the coop.
We usually get our biggest cold snap in January and February.

You still have so many apples! :thBetter get that outdoor stuff taken care of soon, it's going to be too cold out there before long.

We sure do! I am going to see some Amish friends and see if they want more! Working outside yesterday and today I finally have everything about done! Well... more leaves but they haven`t all fallen yet! Chicken coop is ready, run is ready ( needs fresh pine shavings) but greenhouse film is installed to keep wind off of them. Plenty of firewood! I feel pretty good about outside fall/winter chores! 😊

I wonder, does PETA ever get excited about the extermination of mosquitos? Especially when they are a state bird? :gig
