Only 2.5 hours, but they work and when they're off, they're on the go. Of course we always seem to have a lot going on too.
We're going on a trip with them in December to Lake Tahoe. Their treat, for our Christmas and hubs birthday. They won the bid for the stay at a fundraising auction through our sil's work. They bought our plane tickets. They really spoil us. When I say anything like that. DD says, "You paid for my school and for our wedding, we want to do this for you". It's going to be a fun trip. We're very blessed.

You'll both have to share! I was ready to decorate and hubs says, "aren't you going to wait until after Thanksgiving? "...I stuck out my lower lip and he told me I could if I wanted too... I'm mostly waiting...lol

He gave you the ok. I’d do it.I have hauled up some of my stuff from the basement. I’ll probably decorate this Sunday. I’ll put my trees up the weekend before Thanksgiving…which is next weekend. That will be a full weekend job. Everyone knows when they come for Thanksgiving to expect Christmas.

I love that! The red looks great against the white door. I don’t know if I’m putting a wreath outside this year. My son’s dog chewed it apart last year. She was only 6 months old then but she still chews things.

Hi Debby, I went outside early and worked outside all day! Did some work on the run trying to keep sparrows out! One of my old Amish friends who works in his family`s feed mill said quite a few cases of Avian flu around. Poultry is huge around here, I bet in a 4 mile square there are 8 or 10 huge poultry facilities no joke! Mostly chickens but some ducks too. I will feel better if I got it secured this time! And yes it was a great day! I hope yours was too!

Good morning.

We went to the Ann Frank house. In an added room they displayed drawings made from children in the camps. I became emotional and had to leave.

When I was a kid I loved the movie the Anne Frank story I think it was called, not sure but it got to me even then. I could easily see emotions happening there.

It certainly is. People just need to teach & learn history and stop trying to whitewash it.

I` m not sure man in general has learned from some of the atrocities that have been committed!
