You'll both have to share! I was ready to decorate and hubs says, "aren't you going to wait until after Thanksgiving? "...I stuck out my lower lip and he told me I could if I wanted too... I'm mostly waiting...lol

I have to have the village by Thanksgiving per the kids & grands. And it has to stay up until the 2nd week of January when the last of the holiday visits take place.
Weirdly, I thought at this point in my life, I'd be answering only to myself.

I love that! The red looks great against the white door. I don’t know if I’m putting a wreath outside this year. My son’s dog chewed it apart last year. She was only 6 months old then but she still chews things.

Your granddog is a toot, DMC. She sounds like our Maggie, who gets into so much.

Hi Debby, I went outside early and worked outside all day! Did some work on the run trying to keep sparrows out! One of my old Amish friends who works in his family`s feed mill said quite a few cases of Avian flu around. Poultry is huge around here, I bet in a 4 mile square there are 8 or 10 huge poultry facilities no joke! Mostly chickens but some ducks too. I will feel better if I got it secured this time! And yes it was a great day! I hope yours was too!

I could use 20 years younger feel too lol

I hope not too! The problem is / was I bought a metal run when we first got chickens then of course chicken math hit and I bought another run, then it hit yet again so I decided to build one myself. Which is what I should have done to start with but would have been a pain! the coop and run are butted up against our pole barn so I had to work around that! Much harder to integrate seamlessly.Sparrows will find any tiny hole to enter! Long story bottom line it would have been much easier to just build one my way but near impossible when you already have birds and the location I had to work with! I didn`t plan on writing a book lol Sometimes I ramble on!

Coulda, shoulda, would've happens to us all. I know I would do so many things differently if I was starting over with chickens.
