Where I grew up only 1 high school had a pool and only h.s. kids on the swim teams got to use it. So for your elementary kids to get to swim 2 times a year sounds like a nice treat!

When do you break for Thanksgiving?

We have a 3 hour early out starting Wednesday. I can’t wait! I have 2 sisters staying at the same time. That rarely happens for something good or fun. They are only staying one night but I’ll take what I can get.

Good morning Debby! Have a great Friday! I am taking a much needed day off to go artifact hunting at one of my spots, as my farmer friend plowed his fields which he only does every couple of years.

Yes! He usually chisel plows after harvest then he goes over it with his field cultivator the next spring before he plants.

I’ve lost 3 sisters since November of 2021. The last one was the hardest. She’s been gone almost 9 months. It makes you appreciate the ones you have left even more.
