The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I know we can go in to wander around, that will give me an idea if it's worth it for us or not. I'll let you know Barry, what we think. I'll have to see when DH is going to be home early so we can go together.
Great idea to 'check it out'. BJ's by us was not worth the membership price. The only thing I used to get there was dog food, and they frequently had none in stock.

That sounds about par for the course sour, everything in stock except what you need!

We don't have a BJ's around here, or a Costco either. But I'll definitely check out Sam's!

Costco works well for us. Some of the meats provide a good savings - large quantities, but I freeze them in meal size portions. Paper products in quantity provide for savings. Every spring we get fern baskets $15/ and around this time of year a large poinsettia for the same price. Can't beat their $5 rotisserie chicken, and on and on -------------------

BJ's here was not good. We do not have a Sam's club.
We also have Costco. I get my prescriptions there. Only one other place in town that will accept Tricare. Target.
Bronwyn..daughter in law, gets her babies diapers there. I'm with you sour, the chicken is good.
Some clothes too. Books for the kids.
I also like the seasonal plants.
I don't buy much food. Some fruits.

Question to any of you (or all of you :) )...do you have a Sam's Club or Costco membership? If you do, do you feel you get a lot of good out of it?

DH and I are not members, but there is a Sam's here in town. We were wondering if we'd get enough good out of it to make the membership worth it. There's only the 2 of us, so not sure.
We have the Costco executive membership. I spend enough there, so we never have to pay for our membership. We've been members since 1987.
That's a good question about a trial Janie, I'll have to call and ask. Thanks!
You might also check Groupon. I know they often have reduced memberships available for Costco, but not sure about Sam's Club.
