On the subject of Thanksgiving and pie...

You and I could switch pies. I love pecan but rarely get it because everyone else wants pumpkin.

Years ago, my grandson had a new teacher from up north. She was reading the class a Thanksgiving story. She pronounced pecan pie as "pea can pie". My husband picked the kids up after school that day, and Nicholas, asked him what a "pea can" pie was. Jim never misses the opportunity to eat pecan pie. He took the grands to the bakery. When they got home Nicholas was pretty disappointed to find out that "a pea can pie" was just a pecan pie. Fortunately he brought home cookies too.

That pea can isn't right...it's pea cawn and always will be the way nature intended!

Well, good night it is.
Ordered a new phone at T Mobile today. They didn't have the one in I wanted. So it will be mailed. My phone has started getting too warm. I've had it 3 years. That's about the time they start going. It actually turned off on its own when it got too warm one night. Now is a good time time to buy. Black Friday deals. I'm getting the same phone only upgraded ..it's this tears. I paid less for it than my "22" one.

Good morning, Cynthia. I bought a new phone the first of the year. When I got it all set up it wouldn't work. I found out that the antenna had come disconnected during shipment. That made me very wary. I returned it and went back to my old phone. It doesn't have 5g but it still works fine. I hate breaking in new phones.
