The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Its not too cold here, well not for most of y'all. Its in the low 40s and raining. Its supposed to be in the low 30s tonight and I'm worried about a couple of my lower iq roosters. They will not sleep in a coop. They roost on top of a coop inside a covered run. Last night I tried to catch them to put them inside but they went to the peak of the roof where I couldn't reach. I put a tarp up to try and keep the wind off them and I put a warming box with a reflective wrap up there but they won't go in it. At wits in with these two.
Also there are 2 stray dogs that I'm worried about. One may belong to a neighbor but the other has gotten thinner. He will finally let us get near him so we are feeding them now but they only show up one to two times a day. I checked the local lost pets page on fb and people seem to be dumping animals out this way. I can't believe people can be so cruel.
The boxer in front is our boy the other two are the strays (?) The brown one has been showing up for around 2 weeks and probably the reason our girl got out on the hwy. The great pyrenees just started coming around this past week. The big one eats like a starving pony and is extremely friendly. The brown one is much shyer and is getting thin. Good morning Janie.

So sad and frustrating when animals aren't being taken care of properly. Hope they don't cause any problems for your flock. Will you be trying to get the 2 strays to a shelter or are you thinking you'll adopt them?
