Hi Cynthia, I was thinking of checking there too. The slip ins would be nice.I need some of these do bad. For going out with the dogs early, or on snowy days. I've looked at them..so spendy! I wonder if Costco has them for this price. Will have to look.
I like those boots.DH and I just got back from Sam's Club. I had bought a pair of Skechers winter booties online (the hands free, slip on ones) and they didn't fit. The store took them back easily enough and then pointed out they sell the same boots in the store. Got a pair that fit and now I'm ready for some snow. Don't think there will be much need for anything really tall so these should work. Plus, they were less than $40, pretty happy about that!
This Sam's Club thing could become a bad habit.

My sister collects gnomes. I have added a couple to her collection.Oh my goodness. I'm sharing this here but will have to share with my son. He was telling me that gnomes are old folks favorite things. I said, not necessarily. Then I looked around my living room, thought about my outdoor decorations.Yes, I decorate with a ..few gnomes.
A couple of pictures. The last one is on a shelf that goes along the stairs to the basement. It's for my grandkids. I gave them a gnome. Yes, I start them early!View attachment 4263945 View attachment 4263943View attachment 4263944
Good morning all.
I’m hoping school is 2 hours late. It rained and then last night, it snowed. We got out 2 hours early yesterday. The main roads weren’t icy but in town they were and so were the gravel roads. It’s 23* out now so I’m hoping the main roads aren’t icy this morning.![]()
Hi Debby.Good morning DMC, sounds like your roads could be tricky this morning, hope you can have a late start. Be careful when you go!
Hi Debby.
Ice stresses me out. Not only do you have to worry about keeping your vehicle on the road, you have to worry about keeping your hiney off the ground when you get to your destination.![]()
When I was 7 months pregnant with my first boy, I rolled my car on a lightly frosted road. I’ve been cautious ever since. That will be 30 years ago in February.Driving on ice is worse than driving on snow for sure. And trying to walk on it is definitely tricky. Take your time driving and walking, better to be late than have problems.
