The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning Barry, hope your back is better and you have a good day!
Hi Debby! Not much change in my back. Unfortunately! This weather doesn`t help! Well, another sick pullet šŸ™ I am pretty sure it is Marek`s. Very upset over it. I did some research here and came across some info by 2ndTink that sounds promising using Chinese Skullcap (Baicalin) so I am going to make some contacts today move forward with that asap.

Sorry to hear about your flock. :hugs

Good morning all.

We have a planned 2 hour late start. The paras have training at the high school. The teachers have something going on too. I usually leave for work at 8:00 but need to leave at 7:00 because it’s a further drive and I don’t know how the roads are.
Good morning, DMC. Be safe out there! ā˜•ļøšŸŽ„ā˜ƒļøšŸŽ… I hope the roads will be dry and clear.

I'm at that age where I'd rather get an opinion than another gift. I need to do some closet cleaning.

Good morning Janie! You and me both on the closet cleaning, that's an easy one to put off for way too long.

Thanks Debby. I hope I can save them! Probably too late for Ruthie our Olive egger. She has shown symptoms for at least three days now. šŸ™
I'm so sorry, Barry. I've had a rough past few years with mine. I brought in three little bantam hens. They were asymptomatic but brought Mereks in. I lost a lot of younger chickens the first year and half but it tapered off after that. Now I do not bring any in or sell or rehome any. I also stopped letting mine hatch. I'm down to around 30 and most are 6 to 8 years old, the youngests few are 2.5 to 3 years old.
