I have a cousin out on the west coast that rescued retired greyhounds for many years. So many dogs need a home after their racetrack careers are over. She was able to place them in homes all over the country. She had to give it up due to age-related health problems but she can tell stories for hours about her greyhounds.

Anyone that's willing to help animals in need is A-ok in my book.
