The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yes! I can’t wait. We have wind and snow moving in tomorrow night. It sounds like only a couple inches but it’s supposed to blow. At least we won’t have an e-learning day.😁

I know you'll be glad to not have the e-learning day!

A quick good morning! I hit the ground running today.

Have a beautiful day! 💞
Happy Wednesday, Rene.
(Yesterday I noticed that whenever I type your name my suggestive text adds an extra "e" so I'm being vigilant.
Almost got me again. )

Roads were good but it was slippery in town. Two co-workers slipped on the ice. One had to completely change her clothes as it was muddy where she fell. The other fell by my car. Glad it wasn’t me. 😬She thought she fell gracefully though.😂

Thanks Janie. He was good in the morning. The afternoon was a patience tester. I wish our kids were taught old school. Get rid of Ipads, chrome books and all the electric garbage. The IPad sets him off when he can’t do what he wants on it. Some days he can turn his mood around. Today was not one of those days. I assume tomorrow will be better.😅
Good morning, DMC.
I wish they'd teach the old ways too. My 16yo grandson is severely autistic. He can read a little but cannot write. He, and his mother, think it is unimportant because he does "talk to text". I disagree. He needs all the advantages he can get. He spends most of his time on electronic games.

Hi Debby! Low 30s at the moment falling temps all day after midmorning. Teens tonight! I think supposed to be mostly dry with just a skiff of snow! I`m ready for spring already! Hopefully no freezing rain for you!
Hush your mouth. I want to enjoy these 40 to 60s a little longer. 🤣

Good morning, Debby ☕️ have you started shopping for a new computer or is your old one still hanging in there?

Morning Janie, Old Trusty is still hanging in there. It's sort of like me, slower and with more glitches day by day. :gig

About 12 years ago, a friend that was raising her grandson told me how disgusted she was with his education. He didn't know how to write cursive, couldn't tell time on an analog clock and had no clue what Roman numerals were. She was trying to fill in the blanks on her own. Kids need every bit of learning they can get, the world hasn't gotten any less challenging.
