The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi, staying in with a hot cup of coffee sounds like a good plan. Welcome to our thread!
Thank you! I'm having some with a donut right now.
Good morning! It looks like a day to stay home & stay safe.
Definitely! The chickens are staying in their coop today as well, my youngest two Rhode Island Reds have never seen snow.

I don't think many of my chickens have seen snow. I believe our last snow (that stuck) was in 2020. About 3/4 of my standard flock of 14 girls was around but the rest haven't seen anything more than a little ice in their waterers.

Good morning Janie! Thanks for the coffee and donut! It`s a whopping 11 degrees here with some zero temps this week! I vote for around 72! Sounded good anyhow! Have a great day! 😊
72 sounds perfect, Barry. The highest temp in our 10 day outlook is 65. I can manage with the 60s.

I see you're in east Texas, winter must feel pretty nice to you? I've had to replace my chicken's waterer two weeks ago as the water inside froze and cracked it overnight.
