Good morning all! Heading out the door. Unplanned trip to town to pick up supplies. Hubs was supposed to go, but he's sick. I was going to stay home to mow the lawn and try and finish cleaning up the garden. Best laid plans...lol

Hi Rene. Is it Friday yet?

At 1:00 my kiddo was asking for the bus. It did not get better.

Did you get paid for your sick hours? I think they cap us at around 800 hours. If you’ve been there 12 years and quit you get paid for 25% of those hours. Before 12 years, you get nothing. I think I need to be taking some mental health days to use some of mine up.

The sick leave was added to years of service, so I got to 30 years of service instead of 29

I hope you are completely mended, Ron. I feel much better now but I still get winded walking up or down the stairs. The polen count is really high here and I think thats part of my problem.

I am nearly over the cough but did get too high of a heart rate from a 20 minute walk yesterday. Today will be a rest day. Tomorrow I will ride the exercise cycle.

It will take some time to get back to where I was before January.
