The Nightmare (Parrot rescue gone wrong)

I was more or less a local rescue until my house fire.This makes me so sick I'm sitting here crying thinking about what they're going thru and the ones I lost. Would she sell them? This is one I bought before I even had a house,my son took care of her for me. She wasn't in as bad a situation as the ones you wrote about. But it was enough to make me sick.

Palestina used to work at my Petco and now works for Animal Rescue League.

That is TERRIBLE!! To think people would treat such beautiful, smart birds like that is terrible. Take care of them, or leave them in the wild.

Sounds to me like some people need to liberate the captives from this place. OOPS .... forget I said that!

This is outrageous. Seeing birds in sick conditions is about as bad as seeing something die right in front of you; because it technically is! My Budgie was brought in good condition and only plucks out loose wings and my duck has a breathing problem. I help my duck with her breathing and snuggle up to my little budgie. If you can, try to take some to your house an nurse them back to health or else try to persuade the woman to sell them to a nice well-caring pet shop. I almost exploded reading this. In Australia and many other countries this would be counted as animal abuse and she should go to jail for this. Please don't give up, but know when you can't help anymore. Don't feel responsible because your doing amazing if you are helping them. This is enough to make me sick. I'm sorry I live so far away but I can understand this.
