My lap top fried the first weekend of April.

I'm working on a dinosaur computer now that I can't put pics on.

I've been promised my laptop for Monday. It's been driving me nuts because I use it as a desktop at work, then bring it home and use it here.

Well they've found out what chick mash is and they can really poop alot!

Stay tuned.

oh, how I'm hoping for lots of pullets.

Waiting patiently for pics.

btw Mahonri - My own Blue Wheatens from Kat are feathering far enough for me to make good guesses on color . . . And I may just have a Splash Wheaten!!

I also have a mammothly dinosaur sized Wheaten. . . HUGE chick.

son of Mahonri (DS#3) took a bunch of pics with his camera tonight. He was going to upload them to his account on his brother's laptop but he says "this takes way too long" , "Why doesn't BYC have something like photo bucket where you can upload multiple pics at a time?"

Haven't we all asked that question?

We would probably overload and crash Nifty's servers if they did.

I'm hopeful for Monday!!

Mahonri- you CAN use photobucket to post pictures here, you just need to type the code around the url. Or highlight and click the img button.

Laree,

If I had the capability, I'd be uploading pics of all the treats I'm harvesting from my garden right now.

-----------------------

The chicks are really getting big in just 4 days... little primary feathers coming in on the wings.

Those white down blue wheaten chicks are stunning, but so are the pretty wheaten chicks and the ones from WI continue to out pace the others for growth.

My poor little polish crosses look like bantams compared to the others.

I put their brooder outside. The dust was killing me. I'll have to throw a sheet or two over it tonight, but it will only get down to 61 and with the heat lamp, they should be fine.

Three weeks and they should be able to free range the north lawn, and by then I'll be counting roos and hens.
