The oddest thing you do while eggs are in the incubator

LoL....I walk around flapping my wings (oops arms) at my geese all the time.....And we live too close to the street......Oh Yeah, I'm that crazy chicken lady.......

Will you please post a voice pattern for how the Mom chicks do that calling thing to their babies....

We've only had one broody, and she wasn't the best, so I've missed that opportunity to hear it.....

Or if you won't show us how you do it, will you pm me a link on the internet so I can learn it???

It sounds like a purring "pluck, pluck, pluck". They always seem ticked when they do it, must be hormones lol. I watch the incubator all the time when I'm home, constantly checking temps. I have even made a turning sheet so they get turned at least 3x daily. at night I tell them to "stay warm and toasty", and" good morning eggies" in the morning. No one's around though, except the pugs, and they think there's presents for them in the box(bator)

Odd for me starts at the beginning, not just at lockdown.

Sounds crazy...but I talk to the eggs from day 1! "Chick chick chicks" is the only thing I say to them until lockdown...then it goes something like this......"C'mon chick chicks...c'mon"
