I guess cuz it takes so long for chicks to grow up lol. My two roosters did grow up though. And they're fairly nice too.

I'm going to check again in the morning. This is really beyond annoying. My newest birds were just growing up and I JUST had a brand new roo that was all shades of blue that were all with in 3 shades. He also had barring on his head wings and body. so pretty.
