I've been considering Barred Rocks (and all of the find characteristics of them). I also recently read where someone said that the feed to egg ratio was very good for banties. Beck 4 years old zero eggs sorry his a roo (had to post that) but will (hopefuly) be a daddy soon (grummble) just have to wait for a hen to go broody... but he a lover (twords the hens that is) he woships them

So far it looks like Gold Laced Wyandottes, Bantam Plymouth Rocks, and Buff Orps are the best breeds in regards to egg production after the second molt... Anybody else got an old biddy that they want to join "The Old Biddies Club"?
