The Old Folks Home

I've got to do that in the morning. I want to shuffle around my panels so that the birds can scratch around on what is left of the failed garden brush from last year.

I've got a rooster breaking eggs. No matter how many times I pull him from the nesting boxes and put him where he belongs, I'll go out to find him in one of the laying buckets with eggs covered in dry yolk. I keep hoping I can break him...can't. Guess I'll be sending him to the crock pot.

If he were mine, he'd be in the crock pot tomorrow before he gets the entire flock eating eggs.

Never knew that! I asked my mom once where she got the recipe and she said it was the only good thing her MIL ever gave her. I asked, what about Dad? and she said, I repeat it's the only good thing my MIL ever gave me.:gigtrue story.

It's one of the Pennsylvania Dutch recipes that I got her to write down for me before her mind went.
Sourcream cakes are very good!

I just got a notice that someone was following me. There used to be a way to tell who your followers were. I, in my infinite ignorance, don't seem to be able to find that now. I can find who I am following, but not those following me. I can't even begin to understand why anyone would want to follow a dummy like me, but that's what the notice said.
