penny, either way, but you don't want to put the unsifted stuff in the front area where you access the coop. As I said, we use a scooper on our litter. We did get one rat last night, but the temp was very low, for here. First one we've seen in awhile, since Dh began putting the cat litter out there, and the only one we've seen. It could be it's time to put a little more litter out to refresh it, but I think it was more about the temps, and this brave one willing to risk it for food, and warmth. Either way, we have some more ready to go out, if it seems to need it.

Went to one of the nearby Ford dealerships this evening, to look at Lariats. Very little inventory. Afterwards, we went to Carrabbas for our Valentine's dinner. Our Carrabbas is right next to Outback, and they share a huge parking lot. I commented there was a much bigger selection of Pick-Up trucks in that parking lot, than at the local dealerships. That's sad.

We scoop but use a clumping litter that does not get fully changed out but can if it keeps the rats out ..
