Yesterday's hike was a bit of a wash. The skies were overcast so the colors were washed out, I hiked a long way and didn't see much, and the weather insisted on sprinkling on me off and on. I did get a couple gems though.




I am also working on a photoshop layering technique that I am just learning about. I love how "dreamy" they look.
 
I was thinking the same thing. This is one of the most comfortable (and comforting) and friendly threads that I've experienced. I was scratching my head as well.
Stuff like that happens because this is one of the busiest threads--it shows up often on the home page. It was confused with a meat and beef thread when we jump around on topics so fast it makes your head spin.

We may not talk about GMO, Hereford, Angus, charlais, and etc. ever again on here.

We will always wonder about Maddie though....
 
This thread is a place where us old folks who've met on other threads can gather to discuss our lives and the days events as friends. We can't help it if we're a chatty, and silly bunch. I didn't see anything that could have caused offense. oO(sigh)
 
Perchie, this thread has been attracting quite a few "others" recently that make it difficult to come to the site. Bamadue was so nice to point out one day that block member works very well. I have to agree with him. When I suspect that someone wanders onto this thread accidentally and just wants to make their own trouble, I block them and their comments no longer show up in the thread for me. Works wonders on my BP and my ability to enjoy this site. Ignore the trolls long enough and they go away.
 
Dsgard the bottom black & white picture looks to me like a Rorshach (spelling???) test- I always flunked them. They would ask what I see and I would say "nothing." Not good at adlibbing . Okay I guess it does look like the SHE-LOB spider from Lord of the Rings but, I'm not wearing my glasses so

Hey... I apologize to every one for loosing my temper.

I am making spaghetti for dinner tonight... Without Tomato sauce... we were out.

So i used two cans of diced tomatoes and all their juice.
one pound of Italian sausage
Two small onions diced
half a head of garlic smashed and peeld and rough chop.

Browned meat and onions and dropped in the garlic to sweat. I also added in two tablespoons of smoked paprika and about a teaspoon of Dill.

Once I could smell the garlic I added in the tomatoes and topped the fluid level up with Chicken stock.

Canned tomatoes have alot of salt in them so I wont Salt it till its cooked some and I can taste it.

I personally am not in the mood for tomato.... I want just a butter sauce with a few capers and one or two anchovies... easy to do in a small skillet.

Hmmm. makes me wonder if one troll morphs into another - this thread seems to attract them. Maybe they have issues with their parents and want to torment older citizens. Yes, of course why did I forget about the blocking feature? I am using it for the other troll we had.
