Last time I was on here, there was talk of old folks home, this guy has been here for a long time because of his illness..look what he can do!

His works are actually pretty good even, he really has a talent. I've never seen anyone do anything like that with a typewriter before.

Awwww What breed are they?

They are swan babies. Not sure what you call swan babies. And, I realize there are different types, just don't know, saw the photo and had to use it. They are darling.

Unfortunately the same thing happened with the second bottle of Pam.

So I've got about 3/4 of the feet done well, and about 1/4 done crappily.

For those of you that don't like turkens, I'd like to go on record of stating they are by far the easiest bird to use ivermectin pour on with. That, alone, must be worth something.

I love me a NN or SG!


Here is my white, with an EE taking a dust bath. I know SCG..no dust there at your place! With the weather the way it's been this winter, they have been able to take a dust bath quite often. I picked up a few birds to check them out yesterday, didn't see one bug or eggs. Need to check them all though. Haven't seen anyone .. digging because of itchies.

Dirty girl..took this just the other day..must have taken another dust bath. She gives me a beautiful, and the prettiest cream colored egg I've ever gotten from a chicken. Cream is cream? Not .. with this one. It really is very pretty, and smooth. If someone wanted the perfect egg for art work on an egg, hers would be perfect.

What a pretty girl! I have them in the brown, green and olive laying variety, but not creme. I must get more.

We don't have dust here, no... but I did shovel out to the turtle sandbox for the kids the other day. They really enjoyed that. It's too drippy today at 36 to open it up for them.

YAY! Dh is home safe. He took a trailer from Florida, to Indiana, and back in all that snow. I won't be hearing anymore about him wanting to retire up north, and how he misses the snow! He was glad to get home, and VERY glad to see me. He brought back all sorts of good stuff. Dd and I went to see Loretta Lynn on Friday. We had a great time, and topped it off with strawberry shortcake.

Glad he made it back ok! That was quite a storm to go through!

That is so awesome. CBS had him on their Sunday Morning show and 60 Minutes I believe. Just a great story. I love when they have inspiring people on. Puts my lot in life in a bit different perspective. I love your turken, so pretty, & NNs - Just not sure I want any. Wouldn't they get frost bite on their neck? But yeah on the ivermectin.
