I made $450 bucks in the 8.5 hours I worked. Around $50 bucks and hour. If you were my neighbor I would shovel you out for free. All I would ask is a nice warm dinner, and fellowship with me and my wife.

I am using one out of a computer that we got off ebay and one out of the hovabator that would not hold a temp so one on each end to circulate the air. They cut off and on perfectly.
The fans off ebay are 1.25 and up.

I have had a hectic few weeks (months?) but I have been keeping up with my threads......sorta'........I've been reading skimming them, anyway.

Work has been really stressful because my supervisor has been off (deployed) and my secretary retired leaving me to do the jobs of all three of us. I mentioned before that I was tired all the time and just when I started to feel a bit better, I came down with the bronchitis crud that has been going around. I am just now feeling like I'm getting over it and it's been three weeks since it started.

I have been hatching like crazy and have the Sportsman full for the first time - EVER!! I just sent eight roosters off to the family that gets and processes all my extra roosters, along with eleven chicks I hatched for them to take and raise for themselves. Yes, I am an enabler. Oh, and they "surprised" me with another tray full of eggs to hatch for them.....

The Sportsman (I need to name mine like Tara did) holds six trays and each tray holds a maximum of 48 chicken eggs. I put eggs in on Fridays and pull eggs to put in the hatchers on Wednesdays. I have a tray to pull and candle today and they will go into the hatcher because they are off the normal schedule and are due on the 16th (Monday.) That will free up one tray for the eggs I collect to hatch in the coming week. I have one tray in there for another friend and they went in on the same day as a tray of mine, so there are two trays due on the same day - that will be fun. The unexpected tray from the family went in with a tray of mine last night. That means two more due in three weeks.

Oy vey!

Oh, and I got my five year badge!

Thanks Oz I bought three of them and now only needed one. So I will have a back up. I accidently ordered one that is a 12v that is coming from china and now not sure what to do with it when it gets here. lol

Congrats Wisher on your hatching! It sounds as if you have been very busy. I hope you get well soon.

My DH has had they same crud for the last three weeks it is going around and it is bad!

A 12 volt power supply.
You'll need one anyway when you install computer fans.

So glad to have you back with us! Congrats on the badge... looks like they did a big push this week because I got my notification this morning, too.
