I also love the garden areas with your chicken picker on it. That is pretty awesome!

Beercan That incubator looks fantastic!

Vehve Your bunny pen really looks great!

Well, I decided to do an inventory of my birds. To my surprise, I have exactly 100!

Now, that is counting many that, according to chicken math, I should not be counting, like the chicks in the brooders, and the extra cockerels. I have only 19 adults, the rest are this spring's babies.

The problem is, I hatched a bunch with the intention of selling them, but they are the first chicks I have raised off these parents and I want to see how they grow out. I just can't seem to bring myself to offer them for sale because there are some very interesting colors in that bunch and I know they would be the first to go.

I am running out of coop space and the incubator is full........ ut oh!

Sell off your obvious culls to make temporary space. Like those that aren't particularly robust or growing slowly.
Then start building a grow out pen.
You need to grow them out to see how they mature.

Bama I think your silkie roo just sneaks up when they are napping - sly devil. I sure hope the babies DON'T have that horrible(walnut) tumor on their heads

Here's how the bunny pen folds into storage size. The hut itself can be taken apart too, but it's a bit of a project, and I might assemble it again in a couple of weeks, so I won't take that apart now. But if I do unscrew the eight screws keeping it together, the whole package will be about 4 inches thick.

Assembled:

Broken down:

And as you can guess from the picture, Hilma moved into her real pen today.

I scored big with the hinges and locks, all of them together only set us back about 15 euros.
