The Old Folks Home

I have to agree with Puddin when it comes to men. Sometimes DH's are the most attractive. I know it sounds kinda sappy but I am most attracted to my DH. There are others that look good, but he looks great to me even if he could stand to lose a few pounds. He cleans up great for weddings too

Many people have commented he looks like Tom Selleck. I think it is the moustache.

Chicka I think we both did much better the second time around. This is a second marriage for both of us and so far this one has lasted longer than either of our firsts. I think he is a definite keeper even if he gets on my nerves some days. ;)

OK old people...

how far along does an egg have to be, before the old people eyes know for sure if it is fertile???

I am thinking that at day 4, some are clearly clears.... but maybe it isn't that horrid (too many clears to make me happy)... maybe it is just too early.... right?

I am not even trying to candle any of my eggs except the nice lovely WHITE leghorn eggs... so color is not the issue.

should I panic now?? (I promised a bunch of chicks to sell.... and clear eggs clearly don't make chicks)

or wait until day 7??

I feel the same about my DH this Oct. we will be married 5 yrs. That is a record for me but next year we will beat DH's record. And we both feel this is the best we could ever have! I still feel like we are newly weds! lol Even in our mid 50-60's! Gotta love it!

There is nothing to see, without a microscope until late on day 3. Even then, you have to have a very good candler and white thin shells.
These are duck eggs but very similar to chicken eggs.

I love all above mentioned. Favorites in order Tom Selleck, Harrison Ford, Robert Redford, Robert Duvall, Kevin Costner, Jon BonJovi, Sam Elliot, Tom Cruise...I could go on and on! Oh the list is long!

@dsqard Your DH looks fabulous! And I don't remember where you had it posted but your last quilting was wonderful!

Yesterday just before sunset I went into the next town and 1 mile down the road I saw a Red Tailed Hawk, then 2 miles down the road from us I saw A Bald Eagle!

That is so rare here! The closest I've seen an heard of them is about 35-40 Miles away! It was so cool. But now I know I'm going to have to be more vigilant this spring and summer.
