SCG I wouldn't mind visiting for one weekend to deal with the cold to do maple syrup weekend. Real maple syrup......

Well you missed it this year. I'll trade you Maple Syrup Weekend for Ostrich Festival.

My two neighbors tap their trees and trade me syrup for eggs. There's also a large maple syrup farm a few miles away that we buy syrup from. If you go to the fair they are also set up there with maple cotton candy, maple syrup on vanilla ice cream, and they sell a bunch of other maple stuff. We got some maple sugar this year to cure our bacon with. They bring their equipment for teaching but there's no sap actively boiling due to being out of season.

I keep telling myself I'm going to tap some trees one of these years but I forget to mark the trees in the fall.

Audtralia will be playing New Zealand for the World Cup

the final is on Sunday (sat our time)

The melbourne ceicket ground - home of the 1956 Olympics and has a routine capacity of 100,024 people



dodgers stadium, the larget baseball stadium holds 56000

The MCG also doubles as the match of the week australian football league game and is sold out every week

I watched the Australian F1 Gran Prix in 1985. It was an amazing, loud experience.

Talledega would be awesome. Mrs Oz would be a total yes vote too
