The Old Folks Home

Got 2 blocks done.

This is going to be a good practice quilt. I'm practicing new (to me) motifs in the brightly colored areas and continuing to quilt known stuff (to get better at) in the background blue-grey.
I did not do good on the other half of the below block - hence the right third is cut off. Thinking about ripping it out and redoing it, but no one ever became a better quilter by ripping things out, so I'll finish the thing and then see if I still can't stand it.

Strange. I just got a message in my Inbox from a michellefritze. She's complaining about the size of her chicken's pooh. Seriously?!?! This is not someone I really know, or speak to on a regular basis.

Done with the mowing...and I'm tired...I went all winter, didn't get sick and now have a cold! Agghh..
Took some more pictures as I was deciding where to plant a couple of things...

You can delete your post if you do not like it or made a mistake! I replied to the wrong post and was able to delete the post and reply to the correct post.

Wait, maybe I can do that now because I can edit articles?

Gorgeous pictures, Notafarm. I wish things namely the weather would settle down here so things would start to bloom better. The wild flowers are fantastic. Ox Eye Daisies are in bloom as is the wild Blood Wort and wild roses. As troublesome as the wild roses are I have to admit that I love the scent of them when they bloom. The whole forest smells like a cross between a funeral home and a French house of ill repute. Not that I would know what one of those smells like, LOL.

Superchemicalgirl If you still hate that quilt when you get it finished, maybe Getaclue and I can get joint custody of it. I never met a quilt I didn't like.
