The Old Folks Home

Pepper plants are perennials.

My older sister got a jalapeño plant to I think 7 years old, out in her garden, until a freeze took it out (back when she lived in Texas).

She said the main stem started to look like a trunk, and grew HUGE, I think 4 feet tall, super thick bush with an insane number of peppers.

I'll bet that was one hot bush! Kind of like burns but doesn't catch fire?
