and changed over to freezing rain so not that bad.

Oh yay, we all LOVE freezing rain on the roads!

We got about 6" of dry snow, didn't stick inside the blower at all.

There should be no freezing anything unless it's in a freezer, a cooler, or a cup. Freezing should not even be able to be used in the same sentence with roads, unless explaining you dropped your frozen yogurt when crossing the road.

@Blooie and @bruceha2000 I have questions for you two.

I'm trying to construct a mama heating pad in advance to cranking up the old Brinsea in April or late March and have been busy reading through Blooie's thread about it.

I bought a Sunbeam heating pad. three temps low med and high. I've used it on my back and low is hot so I have no doubt that it will do the trick. What I'm wondering is about the framework. I'm using a piece of goat fence for the bottom but Blooie's original construct has the heating pad on the top of the wire framework and Bruce's has his on the inside.

Which side is best? I've done some Google research and I'm seeing both so does it really matter which side you use?
