"Alright then," Alder nodded and quickly preened a feather. "I know a big tree full of plump crabapples; would both of you like to join me?"

"Sure!" They chirped in unison and flew off following Alder

Alder nodded to the two conures and flew a little ways, then landed in a fairly large crabapple tree. Fruit hung heavily from the tree and promised good eating.

The conures dove at the fruit, eating all they could

Alder repeatedly plucked off crabapples and swallowed them with gusto. His crop soon began to get swollen from all the fruit.

The conures crops soon looked similarly.
Sky was laughing because they were so funny and squishy. You could feel the food inside.
