(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? About two weeks ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8 but will have to over down to 4
(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkies. I've wanted them for two years, since I first saw the fuzzy weirdos.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I'm really new so everything is a learning opportunity
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, watching movies, playing with my dogs
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband, and two dogs. I work at a group home that is located on a ranch. We get to hang out with horses, goats, mouflan, alpacas and a Llama. We also have turkeys, geese and peacocks.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
