So anyway, I am very excited that I am finally going to get a pair of pilgrim goslings from Metzer Farms at the end of April. They bought all of Dave Holderreads pilgrims so I know they are excellent stock. My ten year old assistant (neighbor boy) is almost as excited as I am since that means he'll be working again soon which will give him money to buy more video games

In between making Easter eggs for sale I'm designing a new goose house with the thought of future geese being in there with them.

Oh the excitement is almost too much!!!

I am getting mine on April 18th, from Metzers. I was on a waiting list, and was excited to get the call letting me know they were available. My boys already have names picked out; Columbus, Mayflower, Santa Maria, and John Smith. We will definitely have to share pics.

Me too... Metzers week of 4/16. Shipping 3 or 4 pairs. This will be my first time with Geese. I think I will like the Pilgrims. They will have traveling companions~ 10 WH Ducklings

I have wanted them for a few years now. Last year by the time I got around to "ordering" a pair it was too late. I didn't realize they were in such demand so had to wait until this Spring. In the mid fall I called Metzers and got on their waiting list.

Oh you are so lucky to get 3-4 pairs. As I said above if I had more space for the animals I would get more geese but I'm happy to be able to have at least this first pair (and look forward to a few more goslings from them in the future)
