On a side note, I sold just plain non organic free range chickens for 15-18 each this spring. The "stew birds" went for 10-15 each.

So for 3 meat birds and 5 lbs of organic veggies... would be about right for this area too. Actually, probably less than here, since last I saw organic whole chicken at the store it was 7.99lb.

Mr. Mod? HaHa.... Really, I am sorry. I know these boards are for families and sometimes I get carried away. Forgive me please. I don't know of any organic farms around us - just freerange farms that are truly free range.
