The quail chick's quest for mealworms!

My quail chick named Mac/Mike is crazy for me (well, mostly the mealworms I bring). He pops right out of the brooder and comes running when I call for him, no matter what obstacles are in the way!

He actually goes back into the brooder by himself once our snack session is done. What a good boy.

Is that a duck in the brooder, though? Because I know ducks and chickens mixed in a brooder are a bad idea.
