Would love some feedback, I have a little female white quail who likely was a.double silver she doesn't lay eggs and is 13 weeks. Male leaves her alone and she just does her own thing. She is a lot smaller than others blind in kne eye so we watch all time for picking on her. She is sweet girl. I hatched 18 chicks 3 days ago in incubator, my hen has come inside as she wasn't doing well with colder nights not huddling with others. She is hearing the chicks peeping and she seems to be calling back to them. Its one chick who calls the loudest and she answers. What are thoughts of putting her in brooder with them perhaps a good idea, bad idea?. I've never heard her make the callings or noises for that matter, she is very vocal for first time doesnt seem to be aggressive in making noises it actually nice to see but I worry will she hurt them not being hers....Thoughts?
