Polly shook her head to clear it. She needed to talk to Lolly. As she entered their room, she found Lolly humming to herself in the rafters. Polly crouched low and sprung into the air, flapping her wings vigorously. It was not as easy for Polly as it was for Lolly to fly. Polly was plump and older, and she had not flown in a very long time. While Lolly was more active and still flexible and full of energy.
