We had a Lhasa Apso that I named "Dustmop Underfoot". Because that's what she looked like and that's where she always was.

2 actually. The first one we were dog sitting while my Mom's boss was on vacation for 2 weeks when I was younger. When Bossman got back, he gave the dog to us because they had an older dog and Nugget was too rambunctious. He was a great companion and we went on a lot of adventures together.

After I moved out and got my first apartment I wanted another small dog becuse the complex didn't allow any pets over 30 pounds. Nugget was a great small dog, so I figures I'd get another Lhasa. After looking around, I got Dustmop. She was a right little monster. She made it to 18 out of stubbornness, I think. We had 2 full grown Malamutes for the last few years of her life and she was STILL the alpha. They had chew toys bigger than she was. She was just that salty. All 9 pounds of her soaking wet.

I won't get another one though. When our Aussies go, we'll get more Mals. Best dogs I ever owned.

Yeah, they need to be shorn multiple times a year. Just like sheep lol. Their fiber is actually really soft and they make good pets!

Plus they need to be trimmed, groomed, and blown out a couple times per week. They are very high maintenance!
