The reason is already clear to me, but I'm still curious to hear what y'all think about it-

So I have hatched from these two particular chickens several times already but I'm curious on why they always turn out like this:

or this:

I don't have the father anymore, but he was a sebright / rir mix. It's too late out right but I'll collect one of the mother when I can. I can say she is a light brahma (white. )
An RIR is pretty genetically similar to a light brahma, so that’s why you aren’t getting more variety in pattern. By looking at the offspring, it appears the father was probably gold, meaning that he would always produce silver/gold split (outwardly silver) male offspring and gold female offspring.

Do you have pictures of the other offspring?

You're getting sexlink chicks (gold daughters, silver sons.) That happens when you cross a gold rooster to a silver hen. For this purpose, your rooster counts as gold, and your Light Brahma hen counts as silver.

The rest of the appearance is just because of what genes the parents have.

Since the mother is a purebred, she's giving each chick a matching set of genes. The father is not a purebred, but his genes are also consistent enough that the chicks look pretty much alike.

Yeah I kind of already figured it was something related to that. It's pretty cool how that works. Although, the father appeared to be almost entirely black, along with some gold leakage. Does the gold come from the Sebright, or the Rir? Or maybe both? Asking because he took more of the bantam side of things when it comes appearance and size, just not the color if that makes sense.

Gold laced Sebright is gold.
Rhode Island Red is gold.
So as long as the Sebright parent was gold laced (not silver laced), your rooster is pure for the gold gene.
