The "refrigerator egg" thread

I have an order for live chicks, lady asked me to fill my bator and between her and her mom they will purchase them all... They want as many EE's as I can gather so I went out to the storage fridge and "gathered 5 more" lol... They haven't been out there for more than 3 days. Even if only one or two of those hatch its one or two more that they want Will be setting them next week

the "fridge eggs" I set were just the blue eggs, I gather three of those a day anyways, this was just to increase the odds I may be able to hatch one or two more for her .. I'll be setting Monday and other than the 5 blue from the fridge all the others will be fresh

I figure set 48 and hope for a hatch of 30-35

That's the hope anyways

mom hen is sitting on these 2 fridge eggs. day 21 for them. will probably hatch tomorrow. pecking and peeping. the white egg will be named Arida, and the green Slaw.

I have been reading this thread, I can't believe refrigerated eggs would hatch! Yesterday I got an order in to hatch some chicks ASAP so I'm going to add all my refrigerator eggs and see what happens! I've got 3 dozen from the fridge and about a dozen fresh that I will set tonight. Some of these eggs are about 2 weeks old and some have been washed, so this will be quite the experiment. I will mark them so I can track how they hatch out.

Holy cow that's awesome! my goal is 50% on 43 eggs... I better check my chicken math...
