I should note for anyone interested in Betty - I will drive her/him to you anywhere in the Middle TN/Lower KY/Upper AL region. Will drive for a good home.

Where are you located in Tn. I may be interested. I am just south across the river from Huntsville, Al. in Morgan County.

Location: San Diego County, Ca.
Roosters name: Mr. Blue
Breed: Silkie/EE/Barnyard mix (basically, your guess is as good as mine)
Weight: 4-5 lbs.
Age: 6 months
Size: Bigger than a bantam but smaller than standard. Silkie sized.
About rooster (roosters personality, why you need to rehome this rooster, etc.):
Mr. Blue looovvveeesss the ladies. He badly wants to be the dominant rooster of his own flock but we already have a dominant rooster. Mr. Blue is currently in a bachelor pen where he can stay indefinitely but it would be nice if he had his own flock one day. He tidbits and is protective of the ladies so he will be a great flock leader for your hens. He would do best with hens that are on the smaller side but he will definitely try to woo the larger ladies. He does not like to be handled, but will submit if need be. No aggressive tendencies thus far.

About rooster (roosters personality, why you need to rehome this rooster, etc.): super-sweet guy - just started to crow. He is going to be beautiful when fully grown. Has not been handled a lot but comes for treats and is not aggressive. Was supposed to be a hen (got a pair of chickens from a backyard breeder and was told they were both hens).

Betty found a home in KY. He's a good boy and hangs out with his ladies, ducks, and turkeys now. Thanks for your interest though.

About rooster: we love Mario, he’s super sweet, eats out of your hand and even allows the occasional pets, but roosters aren’t allowed within my city limits and I’m worried his daily singing will get us in trouble. He’s such a great guy and I’d hate for him to suffer because my city dislikes roosters.

About rooster: non-aggressive. Submissive to the hens. Just started crowing. Very pretty. Ended up with two Roos, and only need one.

Breed: Black Copper Marans
Age: 14 weeks (hatched September 16th, 2020)
About rooster: Wyatt and his brothers are beautiful and friendly roosters. They were hatched by one our hens in September from eggs by The Silver Fox Farm in Greenfield, MA. They been raised on non-gmo and soy-free feed. He currently free ranges on about 1/2 acre with our flock. Delivery may be available within a certain distance.
