Ella walks in circles around Mason. "What are we gonna do today?" She asked. She had just begun her training today, and was eager to start.

 

[jallny]

"we will start by finding food. You have had food brought to you as a chick, but now you must get your own food, and get food for the flock." Mason answered, trying to be as calm as possible.

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay." Ella said. "Where do I find it?" She asked, looking around for beetles. "And what do I get? This?" She asked, as she picked up a beetle and dropped it in front of Mason.

 

[jallny]

Mason sighed. "Wait until i give you your instructions. That is rule number 1 for every lesson i give you. Got it?" He said impatiently

 

[Malibu99]

"Okay." Ella said as she stood there, staring at Mason, waiting.

 

[jallny]

"Thank you. Now when getting food you must think about the right things. First think about the season. Depending on the season, the food will be in different places. What season is it?" He said. This was the simplest question he could ask. A newborn chick would know. With the leaves changing color and falling anyone could at least guess.

(the seasons are called RainTime, SunTime, ColorTime, and BarrenTime)

"Uhh. Colortime." She said proudly.

"Yes, very good. During ColorTime the right bugs are found in a few clearings to the North of camp." he said. gesturing towards north. "Come" he said walking away.
